Tree Care in Idaho

Idaho has unique soil, weather, and watering, that drastically affects our Tree health.

To better serve our clients, three top companies, who specialize in tree health, formed an alliance called TreeFixIdaho.com. This ensures the power to take care of any tree situation.

TreeFixIdaho uses ISA Certified Arborist with no less than 20 years of experience. We don't believe in just treating the tree, we believe in solving the problem through better environmental practices.

We form long-term relationship with our clients that focus on making sure your individual situation is given a program that will be trouble free for years to come.

When working with TreeFixIdaho you will be dealing directly with the manager.

Understanding your Trees

Understanding how to take proper care of your trees is essential.

Green Team Management has a Certified Arborist that actually spends time helping you create a management plan for taking care of your trees. This includes a free twenty-page booklet on Tree Care, illustrated with local trees, specifically for Idaho yards. A written evaluation for $39, is independent of contractors, and not a "salesman" trying to sell you a service.

This on-site program gives you the power to know how to take care of your trees and make the necessary decision, armed with the correct information, on what is best for your situation and trees.

Proper Pruning can save your Tree

How a tree is pruned can help a tree heal itself or leave a wound open for insect and disease forever.

It is so important to use a qualified arborist and Parker Tree Service has been taking care of trees properly for over 70 years. They have the equipment and know-how needed when handling large trees.

An improper pruning cut can lead to disease and rot entering your tree. Always use a Certified Arborist and make sure they know the correct procedure for creating wounds that heal.

Landscape Design is essential in healthy Trees

Setting up your initial Landscaping, or modifying your existing landscape, is critical to having long term well-established trees.

TreeFixIdaho member Blue Ribbon Landscape has been instrumental in the modification of so many properties needing to make a permanent fix in re-establishing the health of their trees.

Water, Soil, Drainage, Medium Size Tree Pruning, Lawn Care and Insect control are all part of the TreeFixIdaho program to ensure your yard environment works properly and will not fail in our extreme weather changes and conditions.

Landscape design by a Certified Arborist is a special attribute to Blue Ribbon Landscape services. Understanding how to create a self-sustaining property can save you thousands of dollars as well as providing a beautiful yard.

Sick Tree in Idaho...this is often the answer

How a Tree is planted and what type of soil it is trying to grow in is the key to a healthy tree.

One mistake that is so common is planting a tree too deep. This creates severe problems as this university study points out.

Our Idaho Soils are often heavy clay. Trees need what are called macropores or "air space" in the soil to be healthy, as the study above discussed, failure to have adequate drainage leads to slow suffocation of the tree.

If you're tired of treating a tree and want a true fix, you need to change the environment around the tree. We do this with what is called an airspade. This uses high-velocity air to change the soil compaction without damaging the roots.
